Everything your church treasury needs

Not a generic accounting tool adapted for churches — built from scratch for how a church actually handles money and people.

Collections & income

Record every collection by category — Tithe, Offering, Donations, and more — with service event, date, and payment method (cash, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, bank, cheque). Supports both bulk anonymous entries and named-giver records.

Expenses with approval

Log every expense with category, payee, approval, and receipt upload. Volunteer facilitation ties to individual records, so leadership can see total support given to any person over any period — and flag anything disproportionate.

Role-based access

Four distinct roles — Overseer, Treasurer, Clerk, and Board/Viewer — each with exactly the access they need and nothing more. Built-in segregation of duties: nobody can approve an expense that benefits themselves.

Two-layer reporting

Internal reports — weekly, monthly, annual with full category breakdowns — for leadership only. Public accountability reports: the Treasurer closes a period, the Overseer publishes a clean summary. Your website shows only that published snapshot. No raw data ever exposed.

Full audit trail

Every entry, edit, and approval is logged. Period close locks records — corrections after close are flagged adjustments in the audit log, never silent overwrites. Leadership always knows who did what and when.

Personnel & volunteer register

Lightweight register of staff and volunteers, with org-chart reporting lines and facilitation tracking. National ID number stored in place of document copies. No more manual spreadsheets for tracking who serves where.

From record to public report in three steps

Designed so your team can focus on ministry — not on figuring out software.

1

Record

Clerks enter collections and expenses in real time — by service, by category, by payment method. Quick forms, no training required.

2

Review & approve

The Treasurer reviews entries, approves expenses, and closes periods on a weekly or monthly cycle. The Overseer has a full oversight view at all times.

3

Publish

The Overseer reviews a period summary and publishes it to the church website with one click — a permanent, timestamped accountability record visible to the congregation.

Clean, intuitive admin dashboard

Accessible from any browser — desktop, tablet, or phone. No app to install, no complicated setup.

Imara Steward has brought a level of order and transparency to our finances that we simply didn't have before. Our leadership team can see exactly where every shilling goes, our congregation trusts us more for it, and the accountability report on our website has removed doubt before it can even form.
